The Lonely Road Update
A Kaelo-sponsored NGO
Did you know that Limpopo has the highest rate of child poverty, estimated at 83% of children? To help ensure that the basic needs of these children are met, The Lonely Road Foundation is hosting its first child registration event in the Ga-Dikgale community in Limpopo on the 24th and 25th of October. In partnership with the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Health and Social Development, the South African Social Services Agency, and Chief Solly Dikgale, we are seeking to register approximately 1500 orphans and vulnerable children for birth certificates, identity documents, monthly food parcels and child support grants.
