Justin Savage, Managing Director
Passionate about making a difference in the health and well-being of South Africans, Justin founded Kaelo in 2004. With 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Justin is committed to providing holistic HIV/AIDS solutions and health and wellness programmes for clients. Prior to Kaelo, Justin was the Managing Director and owner of Gallet Healthcare, a healthcare solutions business which he sold to Alexander Forbes in January 2005.

Thabang Skwambane, Non-Executive Director
A co-founder of Kaelo, Thabang is a conscientious social entrepreneur and activist, committed to preserving the quality of life of all South Africans. He assists Kaelo in the areas of Marketing, Finance and IT and plays an important advisory role. Thabang is a well-respected leader, social commentator and businessman, appearing regularly on TV, radio and in public arenas, inspiring South Africans to aspire for more and to achieve greater things. He also runs The Lonely Road Foundation, an organisation that supports children in rural and underprivileged areas in South Africa. In 2007, Thabang cycled 5500 kilometres from Johannesburg to Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise funds for The Lonely Road projects.

Dr. John Jutzen, Sales and Strategic Director
John has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry and an in-depth understanding of diagnostic systems, illness benefits solutions and disease management protocols and how these can be sustainable and deliver a solid return on investment. With immense energy and drive, John is a visionary leader of Kaelo, heading up the Sales division and actively advising and consulting on wellness strategies and the impact of wellness interventions.

Dr. Tony Karpelowsky, Human Resources and IT Director
With an immense and genuine love of people, Tony is director of HR and IT at Kaelo. He is deeply committed to changing and saving lives and is passionate about Kaelo's potential impact. Tony is a Doctor of Chiropractic and, prior to joining Kaelo, he ran his own chiropractic practice that specialised in paediatrics. He provides a wealth of knowledge and experience in both wellness and the impact of hypo kinetic disorders. He strives to keep the Kaelo team motivated, passionate and focused.

Mumtaz Jordan, Operations Director
With a wealth of knowledge and experience gained in nursing and health insurance, Mumtaz has strong management skills, entrepreneurial qualities, solid risk management and process engineering abilities. As the COO of Kaelo, Mumtaz multi-tasks to ensure that several divisions within Kaelo deliver quality and efficient services, pre-empting and addressing client requirements. Mumtaz was appointed as an Executive Director at Kaelo in September 2008.

Grant Jacobs, Business Development Director
Grant is a motivational leader and empowerment professional with more than 20 years' experience in services businesses across a range of sectors. He joined Kaelo as Director in charge of Business Development after selling the Performance Wellness business of Baneth Consulting to Kaelo in 2009. Originally starting his career in IT consulting and services with IBM, Technologies Acceptances, and Denel Informatics, Grant co-founded Safika Technologies in 1996. He progressed into management consulting and HR services in 1999 when he started Ethoz Human Value Optimisation, and later Baneth Consulting in 2003. He was also head of the KZN province for the State IT Agency from 2009 to 2011. Grant holds a B.Com from the University of KZN and a Certificate in Management from the Henley Institute.
