September 2008 – The Lonely Road Foundation and its founder, Thabang Skwambane, are working to support [orphans and vulnerable children] in South Africa and to bring hope and opportunity to these forgotten children. A humanitarian at heart, Thabang moved from being a merchant banker for Standard Bank and built Kaelo Consulting with his partners about three years ago. It was through a visit in 2006 to the rural village of Ga-Dikgale in the Limpopo Province, that The Lonely Road Foundation was born.
