Managing Director

Justin has been in the healthcare industry for the past 15 years. He served as the Managing Director and owner of Gallet Healthcare, a healthcare solutions business, which he sold to Alexander Forbes in January 2005. As a result of his interactions with, and requests from, his clients, Justin believed there was a role for corporate South Africa in the fight against the HIV epidemic that is decimating the country’s skills base. With this in mind, and with his vision of providing holistic HIV/AIDS and health and wellness services to corporate companies, Justin founded Kaelo in 2004 to fill existing corporate healthcare gaps. This venture has also fulfilled his passion for making a difference in South Africa.

Marketing Director

Thabang is co-founder and executive director of Kaelo. After a successful career in merchant banking he left Standard Bank one of South Africa’s leading banks to concentrate on South Africa’s greatest social challenge, preserving the quality of life of all South Africans, by joining Kaelo full-time. He is a conscientious social entrepreneur and activist, having founded The Lonely Road Foundation in 2007 he raised a large amount of money for Orphans and Vulnerable Children by cycling alone and unsupported, 5500 kilometers from Johannesburg to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Thabang can be seen and heard on television and radio and in public arenas around the country inspiring South Africans to aspire for more and achieve great things. He is a well-respected leader, social commentator and businessman.
 

Strategic Director

John has been involved in the healthcare industry on multiple levels for the last 10 years. John conducted a full clinical research trial and thesis in workplace wellness and he now plays an active role in advising South African Medical Schemes and Companies regarding the impact of wellness interventions on the relevant populations. He has also served as the Team Doctor for the South African men’s Hockey team. In his role at Kaelo, John focuses on initiating diagnostic systems, illness benefits solutions and disease management protocols in order to ensure sustainability and return of investment of the implemented wellness programs.

Human Resource Director

As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Tony owned his own chiropractic practice that focused on family wellness and specialized in paediatrics. Tony left his practice to expand his wellness offering to corporate South Africa. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both wellness and the impact of hypo kinetic disorders.  Tony utilizes his genuine love for people to keep the Kaelo team motivated and focused.
