Vaccine Rollout
Since the start of the COVID-19 vaccine roll out in 2021, as of 01 March 2022, 17 million (42.74%) of the South African population have now been fully vaccinated with 30 431 individuals receiving the booster shot.
Since 23 February booster shots have been administered to 30 431 individuals and research has confirmed that individuals may choose to mix their vaccines, however one just has to be fully vaccinated with the one, then ask for the other as a booster, after either 60 or 90 days, depending on which you got first.
