Manifesting Your Well-Being
Manifestation. It has been the buzzword since 2021 but what does manifestation look like in real life and how can we use this tool to better our mental health?
Manifestation is the idea of bringing something you want into existence through aspirational-thought practices. Many may think it is a new concept, however, it has roots in the 19th-century New Thought spiritual movement, which included the belief that our thoughts can influence the material world and essentially, that positive thinking is the answer to most of our earthly problems. This concept of manifesting your reality through thought or the “law of attraction”, as it is sometimes called, can also be traced back to ancient teachings about the unity of your mind, body and the universe, as well as the science of quantum physics.
Positive thinking has shown to have a significant impact on our health and well-being and visualisation is a powerful tool for achieving success. By manifesting, you give yourself the control of choosing what you want and then bringing it about in your life – the power is in the thoughts. What we believe, we receive.
So how can we harness the power of manifestation in our lives? It starts with setting a clear intention for what we want to achieve. Visualise yourself living that reality and feel the emotions that come with it.
