What is Smart Vouchering?
Smart Vouchering is an employer benefit that allows employers to pay out of payroll cycle benefits, rewards and bonuses by using the existing infrastructures on the Kaelo Money system. Employers can send cash vouchers, direct bank payments as well as an array of gift vouchers including Takealot, Shoprite, Boxer, Amazon, Airtime and many more! The process is as follows:
Loading your Smart Vouchering Wallet
When a user with Smart Vouchering access logs in, they click vouchers from the drop down.
Users can create and fund different wallets or just use a general wallet for all their requirements.
Creating your batches for different uses
Smart Vouchering users can create different batches for different incentives and have different messages to these users upon distribution.
Smart vouchering users can select employees they would like to send vouchers, the amounts and the type of vouchers. These include and are not limited to:
Processing your batches to employees
Once the batch has been completed, the users would see a summary of amount and cost. They would simply click process next to the respective batch.
A totals screen would be shown, with the available balances in the wallet post distribution. Smart Vouchering users simply click process and the vouchers are sent directly to the selected employees.
Smart Vouchering is only available to employees that are registered on the Kaelo Money system. This allows us to validate that the employees are indeed those that are intended to receive the vouchers. The benefit of Smart Vouchering is that is removes the administration of the out of payroll cycle payments as well as the fact the amounts received are tangible and personalised.
